We're recording and releasing a concept album for a new original musical! Rehearsals start in December and recording commences in January. Stay tuned to follow this project's journey!

We're releasing a demo track of a song from an upcoming musical. The show will eventually be released as a full concept album, but is currently still under development. We hope you enjoy the release of this demo track while you wait for the full album.

Afloat: The Original Cast Album
The Original Cast of 'Afloat: 20 years after The Rise' is now available to stream! This has been a wonderful opportunity for a student Sound Engineer, James Todd to expand his skills in a supportive environment. The album features 24 songs, including two bonus covers performed by the show's writers. Producing the album took 6 months and is a great way to remember the show.

Performance Gala
This variety show was to celebrate the Birthday of Co-founder Harry Maxwell. A talented group of singers, guitarists, and dancers performed an array of songs, showcasing their skills.

Original Musical Workshop
In December we held a workshop to trial 5 original songs for a musical being written by young kiwi composers. 22 youth performers learnt the music over 4.5 hours and performed the content at The Rose Centre.
"Resources were easy to follow and helped get a strong idea of the musical, schedule was good with a nice amount of breaks and good time to learn the content. Felt very safe and welcomed."

Afloat: 20 years after The Rise
'Afloat: 20 years after The Rise' is an original musical written by Kiwi Composers Sammy Hook and Harrison Maxwell. The show was performed in partnership with Rangitoto College - allowing the opportunity for 17 student performers and 5 student technicians to work in a professional theatre with a revolving stage. Afloat was performed at The Glen Eden Playhouse Theatre in June of 2024. This was a wonderful showcase of the original work of young Kiwi Creators in our community. The Original Cast recording of the show is currently being produced.
