Workshops
Our workshops aim to support the production of original works by creating a space for experimentation and growth.
Past Workshops
Developing an Original Musical
5 new original songs from a musical in development were learnt and performed by 22 young performers over a 6 hour day. Performers got to experience the creative process of writing a musical and adapting it to fit the capabilities of live performers.
This was a free workshop open to anyone.
"Resources were easy to follow and helped get a strong idea of the musical, schedule was good with a nice amount of breaks and good time to learn the content. Felt very safe and welcomed, venue was beautiful- perfect for the workshop. Very good teaching from the both of you — effectively taught the pieces in an engaging way. Overall great experience!"

Refining Music
After workshopping their music with a group of performers, Composers Sammy Hook and Harry Maxwell have made changes to the score of their new work. This workshop went further in depth on how to refine music to best tell a story, whilst complimenting a performer's strengths.
This workshop featured working with instrumentalists to realise compositional goals.
